The photo above was taken outside Marine Hall on 4th May 1910 - that's 102 years ago! How wonderful to think that God has preserved his testimony here for so long. The two scripture texts on either side are still relevant for each individual in today's society - because they have come from God's Word, which is unchanging.
The verses are:
1: The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
2: God commendeth his love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If you have any information on who is in the picture then please let us know; it would be great to find out! :)
p.s. Apologies for the lateness of the meetings arranged for this year. Hopefully they'll be up shortly!

Happy New Year!
Are you ready for a New Year? Have you made any new years resolutions? They are often the ones that we broke the previous year aren't they? The Bible says that the human race is in bondage; enslaved to sin and there's only one way in which that power that sin has over us can be broken. It's by trusting Jesus Christ as Saviour, since He is the one who has defeated the power of sin! There can be nothing more vital than getting right with God - where do your priorities lie?
Jesus says: "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

It's only a few weeks until Christmas! Have you thought why Jesus came into the world? The Bible makes his purpose for coming very clear.
It says "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners". He came for you, dear reader. This year's invitation flyer to our Carol Service has now been uploaded.

Wow, time flies! Where did February and March go? The Bible says that life is like a vapour, in that it appears for a little time and then vanishes away. I wonder what we are all basing our lives on - are we just living for material, earthly pleasures or are we striving to obtain treasures laid up in heaven? This month marks our annual missionary conference which is always a very exciting time. Four speakers will be talking to us about how God is furthering the work of the gospel in a variety of different countries and in a variety of different ways. And we can't forget the delicious food that will be available during the interval! It would be great to see you there!

Happy New Year! A new year often marks the time when new or renewed promises are made. Many of us will make determined efforts to join a gym or to give up something that we feel we should try and give up. Others will be making preparations for the coming year. In the Bible, God says we should make preparations - that we should prepare to meet our God. How do we prepare? Well, it's not through any determined efforts of our own. It's by placing simple faith in the Lord Jesus and receiving Him as Saviour.

Happy New Year!
A little belated as we are nearing the end of January already. How time flies. The book of James in the Bible tells us all about how transient life is. This is why it is absolutely essential that we consider what the Bible says, and to act upon it right away. Now is the accepted time - Now is the day of salvation!
You will notice that this years schedule of meetings are now up for your information. We look forward to seeing you!
